BREWERIES IN POSÁZAVÍ

The first burgher brewery was built in Benešov in 1872. In 1897, it was bought by František Ferdinand d ́Estea and to this day brews beer according to traditional recipes. The brewery is one of the handmade and typically Czech breweries, where the quality of the beer is constantly monitored by the most skilled brewers. They pay a lot of care and attention to the golden beverage. Eighteen different types of bottom-fermented beers are produced under their hands. From the classic Ten and the special semi-dark beer Seven Bullets or the unique gluten-free beer to the special Nice Number. The brewery includes a unique malt house, which not only produces malt for the needs of the Benešov brewery, but also supplies other breweries throughout the Czech Republic and abroad. On average, the Ferdinand brewery produces 28,000 hectolitres of beer per year.

We invite you to visit the Velkopopovice brewery, which has been standing close to Prague for more than 140 years. The first batch was brewed in the brewery founded by Prague industrialist Baron Ringhoffer in December 1874. Since 1999, the Velké Popovice brewery has been part of Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s.

The history of the brewery dates back to 1457. Production ceased in the second half of the 20th century and the brewery was rebuilt and reopened in 1990. Today, Hubertus beer is brewed here and can be tasted in pubs all over the country.

The history of brewing in Dolní Břežany dates back to the 16th century. Later the brewery was moved and devastated during the Thirty Years' War. Today's modern brewery brews both traditional Czech beers and various top-fermented specials. The brewery has great facilities - there is a restaurant, a beer spa and a hotel.
