The first visitors were greeted by the almost 40-metre high structure with the unusual name Špulka in April 2014. The lookout tower is funnel-shaped with a shell made of wooden prisms and really looks like a wooden spulka. At a height of 30 metres there is a viewing platform from which, in optimal weather conditions, you can see as far as Sněžka. The lookout tower is located on Březák Hill west of Divišov. A nature trail leads to it, starting in the village of Lbosín, where you can park. On the way to the top of the hill you and especially your children will find educational panels with interactive tasks. In about 20 minutes on the way to the top of the hill, you will pass beautiful wood carvings, a landscaped pond and many attractions prepared by children from five regional schools and local residents who contributed to the construction of the trail.
The lookout tower is open 24 hours a day, but visitors must follow the operating rules, which include some restrictions. Admission is voluntary.
At the tower there is a stand with refreshments and souvenirs: postcards, tourist stamps, tourist stickers, tourist cards and tourist magnets. The kiosk is open daily in high season and on weekends in low season.
