The Břežany Valley Zoo Corner, also known as the Zbraslav Small Forest Zoo, is located on the left side of the Břežany Valley, on the path along the left bank of the Břežany Brook, about half a kilometre from the Prague-Zbraslav railway station.
Hikers can see quite tame roe deer and fallow deer with beautiful branching antlers, a whole group of wild boars, even with small piglets during spring. You can also look forward to seeing a still-sleeping badger, a marten and a completely tame ferret. Birds include two impressive otters, puffins, barn owl, magpie, jay, partridge, pheasant, kestrel and, in a large aviary, buzzard. All the animals on display are handicapped and would not survive in the wild. It is an ideal starting point for walks in the surrounding forests. The corner not only provides entertainment, but also public education and a sanctuary for abandoned and injured animals.
The zoo was founded in 1971 by the Zbraslav Forestry Plant and belonged to the Forestry Plant of the Czech Republic, Konopiště Forestry Plant. It then returned to the ownership of the Archbishopric of Prague.
