The viewpoint, located one kilometre from the village of Třebsín, offers a view of the Sázava River and the tramp settlement Údolí Ticha.
The viewpoint was named after Karel Václav Rais, a Czech writer who liked to visit this place. It is located on the Posázava Trail, about a kilometre from the village of Třebsín. From the viewpoint you can see mainly the Sázava River and also the tramp settlement Údolí Ticha situated on the opposite bank. At the viewpoint you can rest under a tourist shelter and continue along the trail further, for example to Kliment's viewpoint.
