This view tower was built as a monument of the subjects´ revolt on the Konopiště manor in 1627, which was bloodily suppressed.

This view tower was built as a monument of the subjects´ revolt on the Konopiště manor in 1627, which was bloodily suppressed. The citizens of Neveklov and surrounding villages had merit of building the view tower, which was opened on August the 18th 1927 with the participation of around 20.000 people. Unfortunately the monument along with the view tower are not being maintained currently.
