The trail goes through an extensive nature- landscape park in the surroundings of the Vlašim chateau. The first part nearby the chateau is more park –like with solid paths and benches, the more distanced puts emphasis on more natural environment. The Blanice river flowing through the park is an outstanding natural and aesthetic element.
The trail goes through an extensive nature- landscape park in the surroundings of the Vlašim chateau. The first part nearby the chateau is more park –like with solid paths and benches, the more distanced puts emphasis on more natural environment. The Blanice river flowing through the park is an outstanding natural and aesthetic element. Under the influence of Romanticism, the park was supplemented by different exotic structures some of which have been preserved until today (the Chinese pavillion, the Old Castle). The trail acquaints with the park’s history and the flora and fauna occurring here. The trail begins by the corner entrance to the chateau park over the chateau, not far from the Vlašim Gate ending on the other side of the park by the Znosímská Gate, being not even 2 km log and having eleven stops. The trail continues on quality paths, first on asphalt then gravel or natural paths are used. The terrain is very undemanding, without any elevation. Marked by the nature trails classic signs, relatively sufficiently. There is a big and well- arranged layout of the trail on the panel.
